For some folks, it's Christmas or Birthdays that makes them all atwitter, but I heart Halloween - especially the costumes. In fact, I love it so much that I teeter on the edge of compulsive cliff. Each year when fall roles around, I wait for what is lovingly known as the Halloween epiphany - a glorious moment when a vision of that year's costume dances through my head like a hippo in a ballerina tutu (how's that for a costume themed simile?).
